Author's Notes:

This story of mine is about when Callie and I get married (100% Pure Fiction used), and a little something between Chance ans Felina. When Chance finds some stuff out on his family’s past, he goes into a wierd cycle. And Felina doesn’t know what to do. While all this goes on, Callie and I do a little driving. This story is in a third-kat perspective.

Chapter 1

The Good Stuff, Part I

As the sun slowly crept over the MegaKat City skyline, Calico Briggs slammed her paw down on the alarm clock’s “Snooze” button. Today, she was tired, but she knew that something good was going to happen soon. As she got out of her bed, she remembered her boyfriend, Jake Clawson, was over her apartment last night. Obviously, he spent the night over there. She went into the bathroom, and got in the shower. After her shower, she dried off, got on her comfy clothes (it is her day off), she saw that Jake had awoke. Jake was in the kitchen cooking breakfast for the both of them.

“Mornin’ Callie,” was Jake’s response.

“Good morning too!,” was her reply. “So, what are you making?”

“Oh nothing. Just Eggs Bennedict. Your favorite. With, bacon, toast, coffee, pancakes, and sausage. With a touch of orange juice, freshly squeezed.”

“You wonderful Kat!”

“Awww… It was nothin’. Besides, it’s because I love you.”

“Thanks Jake. So, what did the news say?”

“Nothing. Just somekat got his car smashed, and another kat got robbed by two gangsters. Ann Gora said that the Enforcers are getting somewhat like the SWAT Kats.”

“That’s odd.”

“Yea, you’re right,” Jake lied. “So, what are we going to do today Callie?”

“Hmmmm… I don’t know.”

“I got an idea! Why don’t we go to that real secluded meadow outside of the city? We can have a picnic, or something like that, and spend the whole day together.”

“I really like that idea Jake.” She got up from the leather sofa, and kissed him on the lips.

“I’ll get the food ready…”

“Okay. I’ll get the other stuff.”

The other stuff he mentioned was in reality a engagement ring he was going to give to her.

“I’ll be ready in a few minutes!”

Jake then walked into her room, and before she could change her clothes, started to kiss her.

In the penthouse two floors below, Chance Furlong, Enforcer Commander, was laying down on his huge sofa. He had his sound system playing Moztclaw’s symphonies. His wife, Felina walked into the room.

“Kinda relaxing, isn’t it?” Chance asked.

“Yea, it is,” was her reply.

“Well, we both have the day off. What should we do today?”

“I don’t know. But I do know I need some stuff from my locker at Headquarters,” Felina said.

“Okay, we can go down there right now. Just lemme get my jacket and ID and lets go.”

“Great. same for me too.”

A few minutes later, they were driving to Enforcer Headquarters.

“Agghh, traffic congestion. I hate this. I’m going to put the flasher on the roof, and maybe they will let us through.”

“Good idea, and we can get my stuff,” Felina was saying, until she heard the siren, and then she stopped.

When they reached the parking garage, he pulled in, and showed the security kat his ID card.

“Good morning Commander Furlong. Ok, go on in.”

As they drove through the garage, Chance said, “Do you want to go look at the closed off part where my jet crashed a few years ago? I’ve been dying to look at it.”

“Okay, we can go to that section before we get my stuff.”

When they got out of the car, they headed for the elevator. Sergent McFurson was also heading to the elevator.

“Hi Commander!”

“Oh, uh hello sergeant. What floor?”

“5th floor.”

The elevator ride made Chance so tired, he almost fell asleep.

“Chance, wake up!”

“Wha… Oh. Sorry. The music made me sleepy.”

When they went to the 20th floor, it was deserted. They had to use the stairs to get there.

“Kat this brings back memories. The last time I was here was when I had to get out of the jet. Do you want to look through the desks and see if somekat left something? I want to look through every room.”

“That will take all afternoon.”

“Well, I know I won’t be lonely.”

“Thanks handsome.”

They started on the 20th floor, and were going to the 30th floor.

Nokat was ever in that section anymore. Lack of funds kept the Enforcers from getting it rebuilt. It was constructed during MegaWar II. The drab, dull colors were sad, and the old lights, fans, floor & ceiling tiles were cracked, and heavily damaged. This was punishment to work in this area. Everyone wanted to work in the new addition, which was all you could see. They decided to look at five floors today.

Chance thought, “This is great. I get to spend the whole day with the most important kat in my life. Life is gooood…….”

At Callie’s apartment, Jake and her were ready for a day of fun.

“Callie, all set?”

“Yea Jake. Lets go.”

They took the new elevator down to the parking garage. Jake turned the alarm on his Jaguar XK8 convertible off. He then opened the trunk, and placed the basket, checkered blanket, and some other stuff in there. Hurrily, he ran to the right side and opened up the door for Callie.

“Thanks Jake.”

“No problem.”

He closed the door, and got in the driver’s side and started the car.

“Uh Callie, I need to tell you something.”

“What is it Jake?”

“. . . Uh Callie, uh. . . . Will. . . you. . . marry me?!”

She sat in awe, and couldn’t understand what he just said. She then realized what he said. And then she started to cry.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing. I’m just so happy that you asked me to marry you. I just can’t believe what’s happening. . . . .”

“I really mean it. And here’s the ring to prove it too!”

Callie then lifted her head out of her paws, and turned her head, and saw the largest diamond ring she had ever saw. Jake put in on her paw, and she kissed Jake so long, he couldn’t believe it. He was glad. So glad. And he started to purr. . . . . . .

The End for now!

I will write the continuation later.
