Here is an inbetween fic that tells that Dawn discovers who she really is and finds an old friend. Enjoy.
Dawn awoke. She saw other kittens staring at her. After getting up and speaking with the adult of the place, she learned that she was in a foster home, by her father’s orders, and would never see any of her family again. That night she cried for the third time in her life. She cried herself to sleep.
Over time, Dawn was bounced around through many foster homes. During this time she studied and skipped as many grades as possible to get away faster. She graduated high school at 14 and went to college immediately after.
Then, when she was 16, a white wolf appeared to her. It was the guardian of the Guardians, Athena. Athena restored Dawn’s memories of Avalon, her original family, and her best friend Amy. Athena also gave Dawn back the Imperium Silver Crystal and her Silver Sabre so she could once again become Guardian Phoenix. Athena then left her to fulfill her destiny.
Dawn finished college at the age of 18 and right after fulfilled her dream of being a vet. At her first job she remet Amy, who had also been visited by Athena and was now known as Amy Lexis. They restarted their friendship stronger than before. They were always together and became roommates and moved from job to job. (Vets often transfer when a clinic is no longer to their liking or their boss transfers them.)
Even though she was happy to have what she had now after the hell that she had been through, Dawn missed her Tigger, and something else that was unexplainable was beginning to pull at her heart. It was like her soul was searching for the other half of its self. So, at the age of 20 and Amy at the age of 22, the five foot tall she-kat and her 5’8 blonde haired friend moved to Megakat City where Chance had last been seen. Dawn had called his parents and found out that Chance had left home and joined the Enforcers soon after she had been taken. Dawn called the Enforcers only to learn that Chance and his flying partner Jake something or other had been kicked out. When she got the whole story, she realized it was Feral who was really at fault. She wrote down the address the secretary gave her, told Amy where she would be, and drove twards the Megakat Metal Salvage Yard…
